"The Hundred Languages" is a core concept of the Reggio Emilia Approach, emphasizing the many ways children express themselves, learn, and interact with the world. Here are the key values behind this philosophy.

🎭 Multiple Forms of Expression
Children have countless ways to communicate, including art , music , movement , play , storytelling , and more. Learning isn’t limited to verbal or written language.
🤝 Collaboration and Social Learning
Learning happens in relationships—children communicate their ideas through interaction with peers, teachers , and the environment.
📜 Listening and Documentation
Teachers observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning processes, recognizing and honoring their voices.
🎨 Creativity and Imagination
Expression through different “languages” fosters creativity, encouraging children to think in diverse and innovative ways.
🌟 Respect for Each Child’s Uniqueness
Every child has their own way of learning and expressing ideas, and all forms of expression are valued equally.
👐 Hands-On Learning
Children learn best through active exploration, using various materials and tools to construct their understanding.
🏡 The Environment as a Teacher
The learning space is designed to inspire exploration, providing materials that encourage different modes of communication.

Our curriculum blends structured Montessori activities with the creativity and collaboration of Reggio Emilia, all while immersing children in a rich Spanish-language environment.
Through sensory play, open-ended projects, and real-world experiences, we encourage curiosity, independence, and critical thinking. Our bilingual educators create a warm and engaging atmosphere where children build foundational academic skills, develop social-emotional intelligence, and gain cultural awareness.
Our goal is to nurture future leaders with a deep appreciation for sustainability and environmental consciousness. Through lessons in geography, the universe, and global awareness, we introduce children to the interconnectedness of the world. We also instill the values of peace, grace, respect, and courtesy—helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning and compassionate living.
Curriculum
Our preschool program uses authentic Montessori materials to create a hands-on, engaging learning experience. Children explore practical life activities like pouring, sorting, and buttoning to develop fine motor skills and independence. Sensorial materials, such as the pink tower and color tablets, refine their senses and build problem-solving skills. With individualized guidance, each child progresses at their own pace, developing confidence, focus, and a deep love for learning. Through Grace and Courtesy lessons, children learn essential core social skills, such as greeting others, using polite language, waiting their turn, and showing kindness and respect. These lessons are modeled and practiced daily, fostering empathy, cooperation, and a sense of community within the classroom.
Montessori Classroom
Depending on your child's need, we introduce Spanish immersion gradually, offering a transition period where children hear both English and Spanish. This approach allows children to feel comfortable moving between languages. Through daily Spanish immersion, children absorb language naturally through play, interaction, and hands-on activities, while structured English phonics lessons build skills they’ll need for kindergarten reading.
Language Immersion
✔️ Spanish-First Approach – Children absorb Spanish naturally through conversation with peers and staff, literacy, direction, and documentation.
✔️ Gradual Transition Period – We ease children into the immersion process, allowing them to feel comfortable as they gain confidence in Spanish.
✔️ Introduction to English Phonics – Daily literacy activities ensure a strong foundation in reading and writing before kindergarten.
✔️ Bilingual Activities & Cultural Exposure – Music, storytelling, and cultural celebrations enhance language learning in both English and Spanish.
Our goal is to develop bilingual learners who not only understand and speak Spanish fluently but also build strong literacy skills in both languages. To create true bilingual experiences, children engage with native Spanish speakers, bilingual activities, music, and cultural celebrations. These experiences boost their confidence in both languages, helping them grow in Spanish fluency while strengthening the English literacy skills needed for school. We aim to foster a love of learning and language, building cultural understanding and a strong foundation in both Spanish and English.

The Atelier: A Space for Creativity & Discovery
Incorporating Atelier Culture into our preschool program provides children with a dedicated space to explore art, creativity, and self-expression. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the atelier is more than an art studio—it’s a place where children engage in hands-on experimentation with natural materials, textures, colors, and various artistic media.

Materials
Every material in our classroom is intentionally chosen to enhance a child’s understanding of the world. Designed to develop skills and inspire exploration, our high-quality materials—including delicate items like ceramic bowls and small glass pitchers—encourage care, mindfulness, and responsibility.
Our educators, or "guides," play a crucial role in fostering classroom etiquette and respect for both materials and peers. The inclusion of fragile objects is purposeful, teaching children spatial awareness, fine motor skills, and problem-solving through hands-on experience.
Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to build upon previous learning, creating a seamless progression of development. Our carefully curated environment nurtures a child’s natural curiosity, sense of belonging, and capacity for deep reflection—both within themselves and in the world around them.
